Ideas for Colour.

I have complied a number of different colours for my magazine background and fonts etc.  These are:

- Blue and Gold (Themed after the colours for the Prom in July 2011).

- Black, Red, Green and White (Themed after the colours for the Kenyan flag which relates back to the Dreams and Teams trip that Biddulph High School offer).

- White and Black (Representing the wedding style theme for the play, The Wedding Singer).

After considering each colour theme, I have not decided on which theme to use but will consider this more closely and then decide closer to when I start to design my school magazine front cover.

After coming up with these potential mastheads I finally decided on using Outside In for my masthead in my school magazine.

Introduction to my blog.

Hello, my names Holly Jukes and I have just started to study Media Studies at my sixth form, Biddulph High School.  My aim is to create a school magazine's front and context page; both my front cover and my context page will illustrate what my magazine will hold and will be attractive to my target audience, pupils in both the high school and the sixth form but will mainly be centralised on sixth form events but will also include information about the last school prom from July 2011. My magazine will include pictures and information for the reader to have a initial idea on what the sixth form has to offer.

Hope you enjoy my magazine cover and contexts page.
